JustRite Blog Hop-Day 2

Today is the day! The second day of the blog hop and I am on the list. :)

Now for my projects. I kept both true to my clean and simple style.

First is a card.

I began with the 2 3/8" circle wooden stamper. I added the greeting along the bottom edge using a 25pt Times New Roman Uppercase font. Then I took one of the borders from the Sweet Something Borders and Centers and cut it in half and placed it along the top of the circle spacing the letters out to meet the edges. I placed a snowflake from the Merry Little Christmas Borders and Centers in the center and stamped it all onto Simply Smooth White cardstock (Prism) using Blue Iris Fluid Chalk Ink (Clearsnap). Then I stamped it again on another piece of Simply Smooth White, cut the snowflake out with my circle dies (Spellbinders) and matted it with Blush Red Dark (Prism) and placed a gem (Creative Impressions) in the center. Then I attached it with a 3D Foam Square (Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L ™) The patterned paper is from Scenic Route and White Linen base from Prism.

Next I decide on a layout of my little buddy I posted a couple days ago :) The JustRite fonts and bases are great for titles, journaling and other custom details. Plus, since they come with 3 sizes in one package, you get a variety of uses that way as well.

For this one I used a Hortzontal Stamper with a 95 Pt Time New Roman font in both Uppercase and Lowercase for the title. I used the 2 3/8" stamper with a 25pt Uppercase and Lowercase to spell out his name and the date. I cut it out with a circle die (Spellbinders), matted it on Suede Brown Dark cardstock, added 3 brown pearls (Kaiser Craft) and placed it behind the photo. The cardstock is from Prism in Kraft, Suede Brown Dark, Classic Red and Simly Smooth Ivory. The plaid paper is from October Afternoon and the Brown print is from Jillibean Soup. Adhesives are EZ-Runner & Craft and Photo Tape (Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L ™)
