I was excited to be selected as one of the participants this month in the May Arts All that Glitters Christmas challenge. For this challenge we allowed to choose from a variety of ribbons and then had to create a project. As you know, I am a card maker. More specifically, I am a clean and simple card maker. I love creating cards that are not only easy to make but also easy on the budget. One thing I love about clean and simple cards is that they do not require a lot of expensive embellishments. I seldom use more than ribbon and a few gems to embellish my cards. So when the All That Glitters Craft Challenge was posted I knew right away what I wanted to make. The featured ribbons were perfect for clean and simple cards because the ribbon easily stands alone to make the card shine above the rest without extra embellishments. I created 3 cards for the challenge.
