SANDY Claus is Coming to Town - Day 5

SANDY Claus is Coming to Town!

Oh yes…SANDY Claus! All of this week, the Stampendous and Dreamweaver teams are playing with a mix of their products, along with some wonderful, SAND-ABLE papers from Core’dinations. Join us as we sand our way to the “core” of all things Christmas and the Holiday season.

Today, I am representing Core'dinations with a Winter tag filled with texture and sparkle.

Supplies:
Core'dinations white Canvas Textured Tag
Core'dinations  Gemstones cardstock (Turquoise, Garnet, Sapphire)
Core'dinations Glitter Silk cardstock (Opulent Opal)
Core'dinations Core Basics 110# Smooth White cardstock
Stampendous! Tis the Season stamp set 
Clearsnap Stephanie Barnard chocolate ink pad
May Arts ribbons: 1/4-inch-wide Tiffany Blue Scalloped Self-Adhesive Border, 1 1/2-inch-wide light blue Sheer/White Stitched Edge
Want2Scrap blue self-adhesive rhinestones
Dreamweaver Stencils embossing folder (#FJ922)
Sizzix dies: Stacked Snowflakes (#660052), Triplits Banners (#659606)
Sizzix Big Shot die-cutting machine
Fiskars corner rounder
Scrapbook Adhesive by 3L®: 3D Foam Squares, EZ Runner, Adhesive Sheets. 3D Dodz


Instructions:
Round bottom corners of tag large white canvas tag using corner punch. Emboss turquoise and garnet Gemstones cardstock with embossing folder; trim and adhere to tag as shown distressing edges as desired.


Die-cut layered banner from sapphire Gemstones cardstock and smooth white cardstock with blue banner being the larger piece. Stamp sentiment onto white banner. 


Layer banners and attach to tag using foam squares.


Die-cut Layered Snowflakes shapes from opal Glitter Silk cardstock. Attach largest snowflake to tag using adhesive dot.


Layer next largest snowflake onto previous piece and attach using adhesive dots. Embellish center with large rhinestone.

Finish tag by embellishing with ribbon as desired.

And there you have it!

Very nice, I'd be tempted to attach the tag to the front of a card to send as a greeting, far too nice just to use as a tag ;)

I love this embossing folder. I have seen it done as a Christmas tree during the hop. I fell in love with it. I think it would look cool as a texture as a ugly sweater card also! Great job on your use of different colors.
