Sizzix & Vintaj Bezel Jewelry Blog Hop

I am excited today to be sharing a new jewelry project with you as part of a  full week of crafts using the brand new Sizzix Bezel Framelits Dies and the Vintaj brass Bezels. There will be one new project every day PLUS very special giveaway!  The details on how you can enter to win this FABULOUS prize are at the very bottom..but first--My project ;)

For today's project I created a red and turquoise necklace with a vintage flare.

Place the foil inside the embossing folder. Place between two cutting plates and then on tab 1 of your Big Shot platform and emboss.

Once embossed, paint with Vintaj garnet Patina

Sand lightly with Vintaj Reliefing Block

Choose your Vintaj Bezel and coordinating Vintaj Bezel Framelits dies.

Find the die that coordinates with your bezel.

Position around desired area of image.

Place on Magnetic Platform between two cutting plates and die-cut with Big Shot.

Paint bezel with verdigris Vintaj Patina.

Sand lightly with Vintaj Reliefing Block

Remove adhesive backing from die-cut foil.

Attach to center of bezel.

Seal with Vintaj Glaze metal sealer.

Now the piece is finished and ready to be part of your jewelry design!

Here is another peek at my completed necklace.
