Visions of craft projects dancing in my head

Where, oh where, has my little dog mojo gone?
Where, oh where, can he be?

Totally hearing my own version of that nursery rhyme today! Over a month ago a very dear friend moved away and another got married. At that point I got sidetrack. Now, I look at the calendar and it's December 4th. Wow. I've had tons of inspiration yet I've not been getting anywhere with it.

What have I been doing?
Oh, wait!
I know. I've been pinning projects to my Pinterest account.
*poof* a month gone!

So, first off I've been dreaming of sewing.
I've pinned several sewing projects to my sewing board.
I now plan to try both a rag quilt and jelly roll quilt. I'll also be making some potholders, pillows and place mats.

With that I have to prepare, of course. I have a nice sewing machine and some attachments on the way (once Amazon gets their act together) to make it all easy. But one always need fabric, right?

My one and only Black Friday purchase came yesterday. It was my first purchase from Fat Quarter Shop. My house is decorated in red, white and blue so I couldn't pass up the amazing deal I got that day on this Moda Fabric.

I also finally got some Kona Pale Flesh to make my Sizzix dolls with. Have you seen this die!? Oh. My. Gosh.

I looked several times for a flesh colored fabric and was told Kona Pale Flesh works great. And it just happened that a yard of that put me in the zone for free shipping. So, of course, I *had* to order that too. I can hardly wait to make these! So. Many. Ideas. And SO many pretty fabrics sucking me in. Including prints from some of my favorite scrapbook product designers, like Fancy Pants, My Mind's Eye, Samantha Walker, Bella Blvd and Lori Whitlock *happy sigh* Yeah, this could be bad. Very. Bad.

If you follow me on Instagram you've also seen a couple of Christmas fabrics I bought from Joanns last week. Fun, no?

Speaking of Instagram, did you know you can follow your favorite crafters there without owning a smartphone? Yep! Simply register and start following from your computer. You won't be able to post photos from your computer but you can still find loads or ideas and inspiration! You can find me right here.

So, all of the visions of sewing have been dancing in my head, as you can see. Now I just have to focus on one project at a time. THAT is the hard part!

I've also had visions of stamping! As I mentioned a few weeks ago the retirement list from the Handmade Holidays catalog came out. I suppose I did quite well as only a couple things that I've bought will be retired. The big surprise is the Lighthearted Leaves set. To me it is a really versatile set that would work year 'round. I've got several ideas with it to share before it retires though. Yeah, there I go with the ideas..and not getting it done! But really, look at this. Does it not remind you of the adult coloring books that are currently so popular??

Then there is the new Occasions catalog that came out for demos to preorder from. There were a couple sets I could not resist. Those aren't available to order from until January but I'll post pictures as soon as my order arrives. One set is going to be PERFECT for scrapbooking and Project Life.

Which reminds me of the other crafty project I've have in the works. My daughter and I placed an order from the Project Life section and I'm starting back with Project Life. I am also trying to to a December Daily version with photos each day in December. That's thanks to the Hello December card set I ordered. These cards with this set are going to make it super simple and I'll just have to add the day of the month!

So, while you haven't heard a lot out of me lately, you can see I have visions of sugarplums craft projects dancing in my head and should have some of my own projects to pin just about any time!!!

And if you have some inspiring pins to share, be sure and leave me a comment here with your link so I can follow!!!

Happy crafting!
