Hello Little Sunshine Card

So, today I am getting a post ready to share tomorrow.I look and what do I find? This card that has been sitting in my draft folder for a few weeks. I gave a peek of it in this post when I posted my first card using this stamp set. So, I suppose I should finish the tutorial and finally publish it, huh??

I made this card with the new Hello stamp set from the Sale-a-bration catalog. Probably one of my all time favorite sets at this point (and it's FREE with a $50 purchase!)

Instructions:

Form a side-fold square card from crumb cake cardstock.

For the cloud shape I use the Sunshine Card die from Sizzix. This die is actually for making a cloud shaped card that looks like the image below but by trimming off one cloud shape it works perfectly for this card.

Place a piece of very vanilla cardstock over left edge of cloud shape and die-cut using your big shot with a sandwich of cutting plate, die, cardstock, cutting plate.

Stamp sentiment onto cloud shape using Soft Sky ink and the Hello stamp set.

Cut a piece of Sweet Li'l Things patterned paper slightly smaller than card front. Adhere die-cut shape to panel. Adhere panel to card front.

Wrap card edge with May Arts SM-09 Ivory Burlap String; tie in a bow. Embellish using silver sequins.
