Quick and Easy Card of Encouragement

If you're anything like me summer is a super busy time. Thanks to 3 years of allergy shots, this summer is filled with lots of outdoor activities and gardening. While I am enjoying every minute of it, that leaves less time for crafting and card making.  I did take some time last week to make some quick and easy cards to share here on my blog. Today's card uses the new Mixed Media 2 die from Sizzix (which I'm in love with) along with my Rose Wonder stamp set (which I am equally in love with).

To create this card form a card base then, with the card opened, die-cut the image from the front panel. This step is pretty much effortless using the magnetic platform to secure it in the perfect position!! I even learned this week that my platform work with my Big Shot Pro. (more on that soon)

After die-cutting the card base, adhere a piece of glitter cardstock to the inside of the card so that it shows through the die-cut image. LOVE the hint of sparkle.

Finally, stamp the sentiment and add some self-adhesive pearls.

Done in minutes!!

Now, back to the garden and my gnomes ;)
