Back today with a super simple card using the new Sizzix Flower Garden Framelits dies and Stampers Anonymous Flower Garden stamps. I have to admit when I first started with this set I kinda freaked out. I will be the first one to tell you I'm not good with realistic images *or* coloring.
But I decided to give it a shot. And you know what? It's was kinda fun! I tried a variety of images and mediums. I finally decided on a mix of my Spectrum Noir colored pencils and then used a Touch Twin marker for shading.
I love having the ability to cut out the stamped image using a die and not trimming all of those points with scissors! Simply stamp the image and die-cut around it using the matching set--Sizzix Flower Garden Framelits dies and Stampers Anonymous Flower Garden stamps.
Create a card base and add some patterned paper. Use a piece of washi tape for the sentiment. Attach the final die-cut and colored image using some 3D foam squares and embellish with rhinestones. That's all there is to it!! And now I'm looking forward to playing even more with this set.
Speaking of looking forward to, why have tea when you can fill your cup with candy?? (I'm always looking forward to candy!) With the help of my Sizzix 3D Tea Cup die that's exactly what I did in my newest tutorial, found on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L blog. It's sweet in so many ways ;)
